I'm feeling overwhelmed, what do I need to do first?
Take a deep breath! The first thing to do is figure out what you need the suit for - is it for a wedding, a special occasion, or just to look sharp? Once you know that, reach out, and we’ll guide you through the next steps to make everything feel manageable.
Do I have to visit your office or can I order my suit from the comfort of my own home?
The choice is entirely up to you! We offer both options. I encourage clients to visit my home office so you can see and feel the fabric samples in person. However, I understand that travelling to new places might be uncomfortable and if you're planning a wedding or special event that can be stressful, that’s why I also offer a remote service - just be sure to have a buddy to help with measurements!
How much is my suit going to cost?
This really depends! Our prices start from £699, however, without having a chat, it’s tough to give an accurate estimate. Factors like fabric choice, whether you want a 2-piece, 3-piece, or if you’re after a shirt too, all affect the price. A quality suit is an investment, they’re designed to be your perfect suit and last for years, so the cost reflects the quality and craft.
How long does the process take?
For a specific occasion, we recommend starting the process at least 4 months before the event. Ideally, the sweet spot is around 9 months, which gives you plenty of time. If you're looking for something in a quicker timeframe we should still be able to help, just make sure to mention so in your enquiry.
What happens during a consultation at Queer Suits You?
During your consultation, we’ll finalise all the details of your suit! You’ll get to choose the fabric and lining, and we’ll discuss exactly how you want the suit to look, including the fit, buttons, and pockets. It might sound like a lot, but it’s an exciting process, and it’s all about making sure you get exactly what you want! we’ll also take your measurements during this time, take a couple of quick photos of you for your design file and collect a deposit to secure your order. Once that’s done, we’ll get started on creating your perfect suit!
Why do you advise wearing a suit to our consultation and for my measurements to be taken?
Wearing a suit or more formal clothing helps us take more accurate measurements and gets you into the mindset of how you want your Queer Suits You suit to look and feel. Don’t worry, though - if you’re visiting our home office, you can arrive in comfy clothes and get changed here!
Can I bring a friend with me to my consultation?
Absolutely! We know how important it is to have someone you trust by your side for advice and support. Feel free to bring a friend along to your consultation. Just a heads-up, though: due to space restrictions, we can only accommodate you and one other person.
